Vicky Brown - Director

I have had 10 years experience working within the transport industry in West Cumbria, this has been both at large established operators as well as smaller start up operations. This has been an exciting journey for me, I started at a local bus company on my summer break from University covering reception and I have never looked back since. I completely fell in love with this industry (which really should have come as no surprise as my dad has been a coach and HGV driver and also a Transport Manager for as long as I can remember) and I now couldn't imagine working in any other sector.

I am a qualified international transport manager (Passenger Transport) and have held my certificate of professional competence for almost 3 years, and whilst we do not operate PSV vehicles (bus and coaches) at No Name Travel it has certainly given me an insight into the transport world and enabled me to apply some of these qualities to our business.

Whilst working up to Operations Manager during my last post I have gained a lot of experience, for which I am extremely grateful. Due to being recruited when their workforce was still extremely small and learning all aspects of the job as the business grew I have gained an incredible amount of experience in customer service, quality standards, building good working relationships with both staff and customers and also gained the confidence to speak up when I have an opinion or know something is wrong - which can be challenging in such a male dominated industry.

With all that said I am extremely thankful to everyone who has helped No Name Travel Ltd, and myself, along the way with this amazing adventure and also very grateful to own this business alongside my best friend, Andrew. It has given me so many amazing opportunities to create jobs and provide a high quality business venture, I never dreamt that I would ever have this opportunity - so thank you to all the people who have helped us make it happen.
