Marc Humphreys - Business Administrator

I have worked in the transport industry for a number of years starting off as an apprentice business administrator and gaining a level 2 NVQ. I then moved on to being a special needs passenger assistant where every day was different, which I loved. While working in the industry I have gained a huge amount of experience in customer service, quality standards, building good working relationships with both staff and customers and also gained the confidence to voice my opinion and always speak up when something is wrong. While working for another provider I completed a Leadership and Management Course gaining a level 2 qualification which has helped me get a better understanding on how to lead and also manage a team if that opportunity was given. My attention to detail and excellent time management skills means that every task is completed efficiently and to the highest possible standard. I have a calm and patient disposition meaning that I am able to work effectively under pressure and focus on the task in hand.

Before coming into my current position with No Name Travel, I used to work for an independent ambulance company as a Patient Transport Assistant which I found to be extremely rewarding. I also loved that every day and every job was different and found that it increased my ability to understand and work with people who have multiple different needs, personalities and have learnt to deal effectively with high stress levels in the work place. Once Vicky had got No Name Travel up and running she contacted me and asked if I would be interested in a passenger assistant role working with one of the young people I transported with another operator. As I really enjoy this type of work I felt no hesitation in taking this position. Being one of the first members of staff to work for No Name Travel I have seen the business grow very quickly and just get bigger and better which means that my role has now developed from passenger assistant to Business Administrator.
