Make A Difference

Instead of ploughing money into advertising we have decided that we want to use that money to support good causes in our local community. As a new business we have been so whole heartedly supported in our start up, the encouragement, support and trust we have been shown has been incredible. On more than one occasion we have been moved to tears and so we want to pay that forward and hopefully make a difference to people who truly deserve it in our local community over the next few years.

So with all that said our first mission was to get Cheer Force Knights to the airport for their first World Championship competition in FLORIDA!!! We are so proud of these local young athletes putting their heart and soul into their amazing sport and putting our little County on the map.

I reached out to Ricky Robinson who is the Managing Director at Spencer Graham Coaches Ltd and he has agreed to provide a full sized coach to get the girls to the airport at a heavily reduced price (which is absolutely amazing of him so thank you) and No Name Travel Ltd has happily agreed to pay half of the cost to try and take some of the pressure off the parents for this expensive trip.

UPDATE - The girls won both Gold and Silver in their competitions meaning they are now WORLD CHAMPIONS. Well done Cheer Force Knight Maryport, you have done the whole of the UK proud.

We have happily sponsored a local lad who is training hard for his first professional boxing competition on Friday the 26th May, we wish him all the luck in the world and look forward to seeing him in the boxing match.

Megan Doran - Always Another Way

Megan is organising a charity event on 19th May to raise funds for Always Another Way, which is a mental health charity based in Whitehaven who offer 1:1 support, group support, counselling, mental health training and so much more. In Cumbria one person dies through suicide each week, our death rate is higher than the England average and as documented mental health funding is low throughout the UK so Megan wants to raise money to give much needed funds to this fantastic charity and help it to keep on provided their much needed support.
