Our Story (so far).... 

No Name Travel is based on Westlakes Science and Technology Park, Whitehaven and cover the whole of Cumbria, also taking bookings to anywhere in the UK. Although we are a relatively new company the core team have many years of experience in the transport industry. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and personal touch using modern methods of communication and can be contacted by phone, email, WhatsApp, social media etc and you can request your quotation on our website at any time convenient to you - day or night. Our drivers and vehicles are always of a high standard and our costs are reasonable, which means you always get value for your money with a pleasant experience dealing with No Name Travel from your initial enquiry through to the completion of your transport.

Our vehicles consist of cars, 6 and 8 seaters, however if you need anything up to 16 seats we are always flexible and able to provide 2 x 8 seaters at the same cost as a 16 seater would cost elsewhere. Our main areas of business are school transport contracts, corporate hire, airport transfers, private hire, and local government contracts but we are always thinking about our next step and have lots of exciting things planned for the future.

Instead of putting money in to advertising on buildings etc our ethos is to support local worthy causes. We will also choose one local charity per year to focus the majority of our fund raising on – this year we have chosen Wasdale Mountain Rescue which is a charity close to our director Vicky, and her family’s, heart. The team consists of over 50 members who are all volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds and professions. As a charity they are totally reliant on donations for funding (they receive no government funding although they are thought of as a fourth emergency service in the Lake District) and provide a free 24-hour public service, 365 days per year – whatever the weather. Once a year they take on a round of new recruits, and each new recruit costs around £2000 to kit out in everything they need as a member of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue team - our hope is to be able to kit out at least three new members between now and May 2024. However any donation no matter how big or small counts to this very worthy charity.
